An exciting opportunity for a Category / Indirects Buyer to join an established utilities company on an initial 12-month contract basis.

This role is almost fully remote with a soft 1-day a week expectation in their Warwickshire office. This role is offering a salary of £45,000 - £50,000 dependant on experience.

This position will involve strategic support across various procurements and categories ranging from BAU day-to-day sourcing to bespoke capex equipment, facilities and Professional Services

For this role you will have:

• Experience in providing strategic procurement expertise and supporting in the development and execution of category strategies.
• Experience as a Category Buyer or in a similar procurement role in either the public or utilities sector and;
• Regulated procurement experience - such as the utilities or public contract regulations (UCR/PCR)
• Effective stakeholder engagement and management of both internal and external stakeholders
• CIPS qualification or equivalent experience
